An adult day care is a non-residential facility that takes care of the daily needs of adults in professionally staffed settings. Adult Day Care Centers offer care and supervision for older adults who need help with social, nutritional, health, educational, and personal care. Structured activities include arts and crafts; exercise; music and singing; and outings. There are also specialized day care centers for people with memory problems.
Cost may be hourly or daily depending on need.
