The Transit Plus program provides paratransit service for individuals with a disabling illness or condition which prevents them from using fixed route bus service.
MCTS contracts with First Transit and Transit Express to provide ADA accessible van service and American United to provide taxi service to eligible paratransit riders.
Transit Plus is a van service, wheelchair accessible, for people with a disabling illness or condition. This transportation service for individuals with a disabling illness or condition that prevents them from using Milwaukee County Transit System buses.
Rides must be requested not less than one day before and not more than two weeks in advance of the date of the ride.
The Transit Plus application process requires a physical, in-person function capability assessment.
Transit Plus vans go anywhere in Milwaukee county and some Waukesha County.
